Our ELS is a standardized program is coordinated with local law enforcement and 911 communications to ensure all responsible parties are working together to and fully understand how the ELS program works to improve overall public safety.
As a leader in emergency wayfinding, our technical team is always looking to enhance the the technologies and processes of our Location-Based Wayfinding (LBW). This includes blue-dot navigation, proximity identification, and location analytics that improve movement and activities in times of trouble. But here's the deal, either you can use our signs and our install services or "do-it-kind-of-by-yourself" and save money. Either way, we'll be there to help.
The initial site assessment involves NTLEIG sending an assessor to your site to determine what signage exists and what might be needed to improve and/or establish wayfinding signage that matches the standards for ELS Wayfinding. Prior to this assessment, we will request your most up-to-date site/engineering drawings. These will be used to establish sign locations for our team as well as 911 communications and emergency responders with whom we will share this information. If your plans need updating, our team is staffed to modify them.
Our ELS wayfinding is coordinated with local 911 and emergency responders. It is a standardized system that communities are being encouraged to implement so that first responders have one emergency wayfinding standard that is implemented and understood by all. If your system is coordinated with emergency response partners, you may want to ensure it is up-to-date and viable as others in your area adopt the ELS standardized signage.
The 911ELS is a subscription program that is based solely on the number of signs. To ensure the standard can be met by as many organizations as possible, the cost for the all ELS services and signage is extremely affordable. The cost is based on facility size, number of signs and any CAD drawing services you might need. A starting subscription (three years/paid yearly) is between $900 and $3800. After three years, the system may be renewed through one of several management agreements or terminated. The only additional cost is a one-time fee of $245 for the required client online training.
Your facility or organization will receive on-line certificate training from our workforce learning partner. A one-time fee of $245 allows an unlimited number of staff to learn the ELS and their role in its successful implementation and management. The training is required by at least two members of your staff.
